La Salle Mont Blanc Experience

For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, Val Ferret in Courmayeur offers splendid runs in a vividly Alpine environment, amidst marvellous forests and magnificent expanses of snow from November until May.

Val Ferret is one of the two large valleys that follow the line of the Mont Blanc chain.

The cross-country ski tracks run along the entire valley as far as Lavachey.

The tracks are always marked and groomed and there are many detours to lengthen or shorten the basic itineraries, covering a total of 22 kilometres on terrain that is particularly suitable for this sport.

In Planpincieux there is a Foyer de fond with:

• ski school and rescue service centre
• Rentals with waxing service
• baby snow park.
