L’Homme et la pente – L’adret
This route is suitable for those who love ascents and descents, and the name could not be more appropriate: The man and the slope. The circular route winds along the adret, on the orographic left of the Dora Baltea, also known as the “hill of La Salle”. It starts from the centre of the village, behind the church, at the crossroads with Via Ollieti. It continues to the hamlets of Ecours and Prarion from where the never-ending climb towards the hillside hamlets begins. The turning point will be at Morge, from where you descend, literally straight ahead, to the main town of La Salle. The route will pass through numerous villages: stop to read the panels that tell their history or that of some of their most important sites (mills, granaries, chapels, etc.): it will feel like going back in time! Don’t forget to look up from time to time: a wonderful landscape will unfold around you!
