The hike starts from the farm road to the left of the car park for the Plan Belle Crête picnic area. Continuing straight on, you will arrive in a few minutes at the beautiful renovated Piginière hut: a cosy bench, green meadows and a marvellous view will convince you to stop for a moment and breathe in the air and beauty with all your lungs. Continue straight ahead and turn right at the first fork in the road to reach the village of Planaval, at an altitude of 1,700 metres. After crossing the village, you will reach the path that flanks the Ru and that will take you back to the car park.
