From the village of La Clusaz, the route follows a level path alongside the charming Ru di Colombaz (in the tradition of Valle d’Aosta, the Ru is a water course built in medieval times to convey water).

The path ends with a short downhill stretch near an old mill in Villair di Morgex.

It is possible to make some variations that lead to the charming Chatelard Castle.
