Chalet La Jolie Bergère

In the verdant Planaval plain, embraced by the fragrant woods of La Salle, just a few kilometres from Courmayeur and the splendid thermal baths of Pré-Saint-Didier, a renowned mountain chalet will be the setting for a holiday of well-being and relaxation.

Founded in the 1950s as an inn for smugglers crossing Col Serena from Switzerland, the Jolie Bergère has now become a historic establishment with an increasingly typical and characteristic character. A mirror of Valle d’Aosta tradition, it stands out for its innovative but typically genuine cuisine and for its intimate and familiar atmosphere.
La Baita della Jolie Bergère began its renovation in 2009… after several years of work, research into typical and authentic materials from the area, 7 small “gems” were born, all different from each other.
Simple as our chalet is, but special to make your stay in the high mountains unique. An ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, far from the confusion, fully immersed in the fresh air of our pine forests and alpine lakes.
A nice buffet breakfast, with fresh and genuine products, will give you the right energy to go and discover what our mountains have to offer. Fresh butter from the alpine pastures will accompany our homemade jams, home-made tarts and cakes, fruit juices and fresh yoghurt.
