La Ruche d’Or is a small farm located in the municipality of La Salle that has found its main expression in apiculture.
Gianluca has been involved in apiculture for 15 years, with love and passion, and in the production of typical Aosta Valley honeys and various beehive products (wax, pollen and propolis).
Practising nomadism in Valle d’Aosta, following the rhythm of the different blooms, he tries to obtain as much as possible of the unique qualities of single-flower honey, dandelion, lime and rhododendron, and the variety of flavors and aromas of high mountain wildflower.

Depending on weather and time conditions, La Ruche d’Or organises apiary tours to discover the fascinating world of bees, their extraordinary social organisation and their fundamental role for man and the environment, only on request and for small groups of 3-4 people.
