The Quinson Agricultural Company is involved in cow breeding and short chain dairy production. It is a small family business based in Morgex, but their activity requires a lot of meadows to feed their animals, so we can often meet them in La Salle in the summer for the hay harvest and in the autumn grazing with their cows. In June they go up to their first alpine pasture in Charvaz, also in the municipality of La Salle, and then continue their summer season from July in La Thuile at Piccolo San Bernardo at an altitude of 2000 metres.
They breed only Valdostan cows (pezzata rossa valdostana) with whose milk they produce the famous and delicious Fontina Dop throughout the year; not only Fontina but also other products such as yoghurt, fresh milk, butter, tome, fondue and also meat.
