Bed & Breakfast Trois Couronnes

The B&B “Trois couronnes” is located in La Salle, a beautiful and quiet village, 1000 meters above sea level, at the foot of Mont Blanc, on the Wine Route of Valle d’Aosta, near major ski resorts (Courmayeur – 13 km, La Thuile – 17 km, Pila – 26 km), the thermal baths of Pre St Didier (5 km), Aosta (25 km), the Mont Blanc Tunnel (15 km), Chamonix (France, 30 km).
The name is suggested by the particular fresco on the main façade of the house depicting the ‘Madonna with three crowns’.
The old house, dating from the 17th century, has recently been restored while maintaining the traditional elements of a mountain home.
The house overlooks a splendid panorama dominated by Mont Blanc.

Breakfast will be an extraordinary experience, the result of a genuine passion for tradition and authenticity.
We sow wheat in autumn in a field at 1,350 metres, harvest it and mill it into a precious flour that we use to make real wholemeal bread with wheat germ and many surprising cakes and biscuits.
From the orchard behind the house, available to guests, we pick apples, peaches, apricots, medlars, jujubes, plums, pears, kiwis, grapes, figs, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries that we transform into delicious jams and marmalades to bring to the table.
The hens, fed with our products, give us the eggs that we use in the preparation of desserts and the bees give us the honey to sweeten in a natural way: mountain wildflower, lime, acacia, rhododendron (second place in the regional competition for the best honey 2017) and the exceptional dandelion, awarded in the 2020 edition.
The selection of cured meats and cow and goat cheeses is carefully chosen from producers of Aosta Valley excellence to satisfy lovers of savoury food. There is also natural fruit juice, fresh milk, butter and natural yoghurt from the region.

During the summer months you can enjoy the tranquillity of the garden and orchard for pleasant moments of relaxation.

Situated in a quiet area, it is less than 2 minutes’ walk from the centre of the village where you will find restaurants, bars, the grocery shop, the pharmacy, the bakery, the newsstand, the Church of San Cassiano, the Maison Gerbollier (dating back to 1200) which houses the town hall and the post office, and the start of several paths for relaxing walks.
The railway station is 1 kilometre away and the motorway entrance and exit is 2 kilometres.
There are many interesting activities to do: skiing, cross-country skiing, guided excursions, horse riding, tennis, swimming pool, climbing school, canoeing and rafting school.
We have an agreement with the thermal baths of Pré Saint Didier.
