Maison Vevey Albert

The Maison Vevey Albert winery, located in the Upper Aosta Valley on the slopes of Mont Blanc, is run by the Vevey brothers who make their ‘Blanc de Morgex et de La Salle’ at the limit of the vine-growing belt, at an altitude of 1000-1100 metres above sea level, in what are ‘the highest vineyards in Europe’.

Dry white wine, of particular value, the colour is straw yellow, to the nose the wine is characterized by considerable finesse with an undertone of hay and mountain herbs.
The taste is dry, slightly acid with a sensation of freshness that lingers in the finish, in which fruity notes of white flowers return.
The grapes, as per specifications, come exclusively from the Prié Blanc vine, Biotype “Blanc de Morgex”, autochthonous and free-range, grown on traditional stone and wood pergolas.

A unique product, very different, combining the freshness and acidity of Prié Blanc with the warmth of a classic raisin wine.
The grapes, dried and frozen in the open air, are pressed at a temperature of -10C°; the fermentation gives origin to a wine with 14,5% alcohol content and a residual sugar of 110gr/lt.
