Restaurant La Roueige

Clement and Simona, the owners of the Restaurant La Roueige situated in Lazey di La Salle at 1500 metres above sea level, are the second generation of this restaurant, which started out as an Agriturismo in 1989 thanks to mamma Paola and papà Aldo.
The restaurant is immersed in the woods, about 200 metres from the Lenteney stream, famous for its waterfall. It is open from the end of May to the end of October, weather permitting, for both lunch and dinner.
It offers a typical Valdostan cuisine, sincere and genuine, made with products of its own production and of the territory found in small local producers.
The specialities of the house are polenta concia, and at dinner vegetable minestrone with wild herbs, prepared according to mamma Paola’s recipes.

Lunch is served in the spacious dehors, set up with 6 large wooden tables, shaded and spaced out, from which you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the valley.

This is the ideal location for those who love nature in complete tranquillity, with the possibility of taking easy walks in the woods, discovering the ancient work of the charcoal burners in the path set up near the restaurant, or to undertake more demanding excursions towards the Alta Via nr.2 or the lakes of Tillac or Lenteney.
